Kristen & Ben: An Outdoor Wedding in Dayboro, QLD
Kristen and Ben had discussed getting married, begun the planning process and picked out the rings together but Ben was determined to find the right time for the official proposal. Ben organised a trip to a secluded spot in Dayboro where he led Kristen off the beaten track to a beautiful waterfall with a rock pool off to the side. He suggested they search for penny turtles together. Unfortunately, Kristen was sick with the flu and wasn’t interested in getting cold and wet but Ben began fishing around in the water anyway. He turned to Kristen with an engagement ring in his hand and asked her to be his wife.

The wedding planning was simple and easy for Kristen, “I loved every moment of the planning process and being able to bring the perfect day to life. I always joked that I was born to be a bride like other women are born to be mothers.”
