Amy & Tore: A Garden Wedding in Marsfield, NSW
When a mutual friend introduced Amy and Tore, Tore realised he already knew Amy from a Year 12 tutoring class. From then the pair saw plenty more of each other.
The bride: Amy Chen, 27, analyst programmer

Tore and Amy would rarely venture into Sydney’s CBD but one weekend Tore suggested they go have lunch by the water and Amy happily agreed. Afterwards they strolled over the Pyrmont Bridge and Amy happily enjoyed her gelato. Tore pulled out an engagement ring and asked Amy is she would spend the rest of her life with him. “I looked down at my gelato and looked at the ring and we traded!” says Amy. Tore chose that location to propose as it held a special memory. Tore explains; “Just before we started going out we walked across the Pyrmont Bridge one night and it happened to be pouring down with rain. We were totally soaked – it was a memorable moment.”
