Rebecca & Brett: A Royal Blue Wedding in Leederville, WA
Rebecca and Brett’s high school romance started after they met through mutual friends. Brett proposed to Rebecca on the steps of the Sydney Opera House. “I was madly trying to take photos of the lights and Harbour bridge only to find Brett behind me on one knee looking very nervous,” remembers Rebecca.
The bride: Rebecca Saunders, 24, registered nurse
The groom: Brett Connor, 26, dentist

Using the groom’s favourite colour, royal blue, and the bride’s desire to incorporate the colours of a peacock feather, the couple came up with their wedding colours. Peacock feathers featured in the bouquets and headpieces.
