Megan & Tom: A Beach Wedding in Kure Beach, NC
North Carolina native Megan first met Georgian Tom when she moved to Atlanta after finishing design school. A mutual friend kept mentioning Tom to Megan, but nothing ever came of it, though Megan says she was intrigued. On New Year’s Eve, Megan and her pal headed to a huge party. “Right as the clock struck midnight, I looked up and there he was. It was a mutual heart-stopping moment when we laid eyes on each other for the first time,” Megan remembers.

Five years later, the couple was together on Christmas Eve when Tom told Megan he wanted her to open just one gift. He’d gotten her a box filled with beads (she enjoys making jewellery). Megan was thrilled, but Tom told her she was missing the best part, which is when he pulled out a diamond ring.
