Grace and Jay had known each other for a while, chatting on occasion, but it wasn’t until they ran into each other during a night out that they suddenly saw each other in a different light.

Using Grace’s birthday as the perfect opportunity to organise something, without her suspecting a proposal, Jay organised a casual dinner for them. But when Grace arrived she discovered the entire restaurant (the same place they had their first date) had been booked out for them. They had a personal chef, waiter and hotel room for the night. “Still thinking it was for my birthday, I was in complete shock when he dropped to one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him,” says Grace. Jay even had a friend capture the moment on film.
