In 2013 it will be time for teal! Bring elements of the pretty hue into your accessories, stationery and reception decor.
Shoes and Socks
Matt’s fun, patterned socks coordinated perfectly with Julie’s dark teal Kate Spade pumps.
Save the Dates
A recurring motif was a teal pattern that appeared on the paper and linens.
Owl Guest Book Table Decor
An aqua/teal painted frame looked great next to the colourful pages of the guest book.
Kim was all for a colourful, eclectic look, but her mother craved something more traditional. To bridge the gap, Vorce started with a classic base: silver-rimmed glasses and chargers, elegant flatware and hemstitch napkins. Then, appealing to Kim’s playful side, she layered in the colour with teal place cards and votives, yellow seat cushions and pink peonies. The finishing details—mercury glass and antique lighting—straddled both styles.
Blue Mason Ceremony Jars
Along the aisle were antique Ball jars, wrapped in lace and grey burlap with a gold and diamond buckle.
Touches of Teal: Aqua and Ivory Cakes
This stacked square aqua cake looks very grand.
Touches of Teal: Gold Foil-Stamped Invites
A calligrapher handwrote the menus, which were then copied onto peacock-coloured cards, stamped with gold foil confetti and placed on white chargers.
Frosted Reception Cupcakes
Carry the theme through to your cupcakes! We love these sweet teal-coloured treats.
