Real Honeymoon: Sherilyn & Tom in Hawaii
THE HONEYMOONERS Sherilyn, 37, in sales and marketing, and Tom, 41, in sales.
WHY HAWAII? Considering Hawaii is where these two realised their love for one another, it felt fitting to celebrate their nuptials in the same location. They also wanted to enjoy the culture, warmth and hospitality of the natives.
WHEN THEY WENT December
WHERE THEY STAYED “We wanted to make our honeymoon very special and a luxury experience, so we weren’t afraid to indulge and be pampered.” Three nights were spent on each island, staying at Four Seasons Resort Lana’i Manale Bay, Four Seasons Resort Maui and The Halekulani at Waikiki.
BEST MEAL Overlooking the sea at Ocean Hale Dinner at the Four Seasons Resort at Lana’i during a romantic candle lit dinner under the stars in a private cabana.
HONEYMOON HIGHLIGHTS Being spritzed with Evian water by the pool attendant at the Four Seasons and served fruit skewers and even cucumbers to put over their eyes made the pair feel like celebrities.
MUST-PACK ITEMS “Pack light when heading to Hawaii so you can fill your bags with lots of shopping.”

WHEN TO GO Hawaii is a dream destination any time of the year. Even in December, which is their winter time, the temperature reaches approximately 27 degrees daily.
