Check on the gifts and registry page. People have posted some stuff on there.

Personally I think wishing wells are rude since it is asking for money.

Thanks,

I realise some people feel that way but what are you meant to do when you have everything and the only thing you need is money???

We are using it for our kitchen renovations… so in a way people will be buying us somthing!

Don’t do a registry (or just have a small one) and let your folks and bridal party know that you would prefer cash gifts and if guests ask you directly let them know that you are saving for (insert home/renovation/furniture). It will spread via word of mouth. The thing to rememebr is that some guests like to give a boxed gift and will not give cash and other guests dislike being told what to give as a gift (which could mean ending up with some unreturnable not to your taste presents).

Personally I like to give a personal gift to the couple and frankly money isn’t very personal in my opinion. If I was invited to your wedding I would find out your new kitchen colours and buy you something nice for that (possibly something you wouldn’t buy for yourself).
