Depends…. are they plain grinders or are they personalised (like with your names and wedding date)?
Also if you are doing one per head wouldn’t couples and families end up with 2 sets?
My grinders cost about $29.95 each – is the $10 per grinder or $10 for 2? I would be worried that they are cheap and would break easily. And have you considered that this is something most households would probably already have? What would you do with any left behind grinders?
A lot of guests leave the favours behind (either through forgetfulness or because they just dont want it). I always do unless it is something I can use/eat or my niece/nephew can play with.
You don’t have to do favours but if you really want to I would say skip the trinkets and gagets and go edible. Edible favours are usually consumed right away or taken home as a yummy treat.
I am sure you could find better things to do with the $700 (that is a couple of hours of open bar!)

Thanks for you thought jaye definately something to think on..
The Grinders are glass with black lids hold around 150g perfect for a picnic set - Not personalised – I was going to do tassie jade rock salt for girls and tasmanian Bush pepper for the guys – so each couple would get just one set…. Singles, I would give both s&P as I only have a few coming.
Will keep thinking on it.. cheers

Hi, I am thinking of making heart shaped chocolates for my guests. I have already purchased the boxes to put them in and I have about 65 guests in total. I am expecting my little chocolate gifts to cost me less than $200 in total.
If you have your heart set on the grinders, then you should go for it

I’ve got little boxes with 5 individually wrapped fudge truffle chocolates in there.
All up (including name tag, & ribbon) they’ll come in at 3 each (x185 bomboniere) = $555 for the adults and the kiddies are getting a lollipop instead.
It’s a compromise as I was dead set against the whole bomboniere (and certainly sugar almonds) thing. But both our parents have requested something and I’m happy to tie it into the place card.
