Hi Girls
Well im 16 days out from the wedding and im that stressed ive lost 3 kilos and i cant seem to shake my bad mood. Ive had dramas with the florist, issues with the hair dresser which i ended up having to cancel and book another one. Just to top it all off ive been stuffed around and treated rudely by the staff at the wedding dress shop. I find it hard to be happy about it all when everything seems to be going wrong.
Is there anyone else who is feeling the same???

Thats horrible krystald. Noone should be made to feel like this so close to their special day. While there is nothing much that can be done about rude staff and vendor issues here is what i suggest to lift your mood. Take some time off. A weekend away with FH in a private cabin and a few bottles of wine is the perfect remedy for pre-wedding blues. Dont think or talk ANYTHING wedding AT ALL!!! Reconnect with FH and realise why you are getting married and why you love him so much.

Oh, and when it is all done and you are happily married, write letters to the vendors and shops that dissapointed you. Some may not eben realise what is happening or how their behaviour had effected you. And who knows, you may even get some money back for your troubles!

Go and have a massage! or a spa day and relax.
I know you don’t want to hear this but you said you have been in a bad mood so maybe (and don’t kill me) you have taken it out on the vendors and made simple problems worse?
My sister did this before her wedding and she had the catering manager at the venue in tears and didn’t even realise.
It is a stressful time. Just breathe deep and ask calmly how they will fix the problem and remember the only thing that counts is that you are going to marry the person you love and all the little things wont matter or even be remember in years to come.

Thanks for your advice girls. i had a night out with my friends on the weekend and thats really helped. im feeling much better now. I do plan on writing letters to the people that have upset me. j-jaye i do understand what your saying but it wasnt me, i have spoken to at least 3 girls i went to school with who also got their dress from the same shop and they have said the same thing. They were rude to them as well. I also asked both of my bridesmaids if it was all in my head as they were both there with me, my sister was just as upset with them as i was.
As for the hair dresser, when i booked in my hair and make up i made sure she knew it was a sunday wedding and she said that was fine, that she didnt mind opening the salon for me as i am a regular customer of hers. Then last week she called to say she didnt realise it was a sunday so she was going to have to charge me more money.
Im sure everything will work out in the end thou.
