Wedding car costs??? HELP

Im trying to get an idea of how much is reasonable to spend on wedding cars and transport. Ive found a dream car I would love to go to our wedding in, Ive been quoted $500 or $650 with drinks and knibbles supplied. This is for pick up and drop off and transprt to photo shoot locally. We really want Chevs for the transport. Has anyone got some tips for me to go off???

It really depends on where you are and what the demand is. If it is the only Chevs rental in the area and it is popular well then they can charge what they like. If there are millions of hire companies then the prices will be cheaper.
For example we are hiring 30 seater limo buses which run at between $85 & $110 per hour.
Call around and get quotes off multiple companies and if no one else has then then I guess it depends on how much you want them and can you really afford them.
Personally I think cars are a waste of money because at a lot of weddings no one even sees the bride arrive as they are all waiting inside the church or at the ceremony site. Same again when you leave the ceremony a lot of guests will have already left by the time the pictures are taken.
Also as a guest if I see that you are dropping that much money on cars and then you have a cash bar or skimped on food I would be PO’ed.
