Hi,
My partner and I were wanting to perform a unity ceremony involving our mothers. As we are getting married in a national park, a unity candle is obviously out!
I’ve seen sand ceremonies, and while I like them, the one I like most is the wine box/time capsule. Has anyone seen or had a reading for this that involved mothers?

Here is a sample of a sand ceremony that was written to include the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. havent found a time capsule one yet…
[name] and [name] today you have agreed to share the rest of your lives together as a married couple.
But long before today your parents provided you with a foundation of love and caring which has brought you to this point.
At this time I’d like to invite the mothers of the bride and groom to come forward and to pour the first layer of sand which represents the basis upon which you will build your lives.
