The best Songs!

Hi Guys, we’re having a few live bands at our reception but in between sets we’ll be having an ipod playlist through the speakers at our venue. I really don’t want the atmosphere to die when the band goes off stage and it looks like the live music will also end at 12am and we have the venue for another hour or so and I’m acutely aware of choosing great songs that will keep everyone on the dancefloor. Has anyone got some suggestions? I grew up in the 80’s and was a teen in the 90’s so I’d like a few oldies that people can sing & dance along to, but also some up to date tunes and some brit rock to honour FH who is from the UK. What’s your suggestion to get everyone dancing?

Thanks J jaye, good suggestions! The Spice Girls were huge when me and my friends were young so a few hits from their golden days should make a few people happy! Also thinking of “Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi, “Summer of 69” and maybe some Blur and Oasis for FH who loves those bands…keep them coming!

Chelsea Dagger by the Fratellis is an awesome feel-good song which in my experience never fails to get people dancing!
