Yes I was going to get this done but instead I opt for getting braces.
Invisalign is – putting it in basic terms – like a mouthguard it goes into your mouth and you cant see it. Every 2 weeks you will need to go back to the orth and they will give you a new one making it smaller each time.
By choosing this option you can take it out when ever you please. People cant see it because its clear. Though each time when you do eat you will need to take this out.
I researched both options and decided to go with braces. Best to speak with your orthodontist and see what they recommend for you.

you can always choose to have the clear braces instead of the silver ones. You can still see them but they are not as noticable as the silver. Good Luck with your decision

I have heard of invsalign, I have also heard its very expensive more so than braces.
Clear braces could be an option, although they may need to stay on for at least 2yrs or depending on how quickly your teeth move.
Speak to your orthodontist, you might be able to wear a plate to straighten your teeth, its a similar procedure except a wire goes around your teeth and its tightened to straighten your teeth. The plate needs to be removed for eating but you will need to wear it for everything else.
Bear in mind there could be other options, like removing the tooth that is the most out of line & replacing it with a cap/veneer.
More expensive option, porcelain veneers on the 4 teeth in the top row .

I work for an orthodontist, and LuLu was very accurate with her description of Invisalign! The ortho I work for doesn’t use this technique, but it is gaining popularity due to it’s coverage on A Current Affair. All it takes for someone to be qualified to practice the Invisialign technique is to attend a weekend course in their capital city, so make sure you go to a reputable orthodonist, not just a dentist who ‘dabbles’ in orthodontics.
Invisalign is a long term option, like braces, so if you want a quick fix and have some cash then see your dentist about veneers.
Just a note with clear braces too, I don’t know how other people have found them, but the ortho I work for doesn’t like to use them because he has found the adhesive used leaves yucky marks on patients teeth. But that’s just one professional’s opinion I guess!
