Suggestions for rustic wedding venues on the Gold Coast?

We’re looking for a rustic venue for both our ceremony and reception. While we’ve found a few places however they aren’t exactly fitting the criteria – they are more tropical locations – we are looking for something run-down but well kept, with a romantic feeling – like almost if it were a rustic vintage location, I wondered if others may be able to suggest some places, perhaps that are less-well known and harder to find?
Any suggestions welcome
Thanks

On the Gold Coast will be hard since it is the norm to bulldoze the old and put up multi-storey hotels!
What about this place http://www.albertriverwines.com.au/ its in Tamborine about an hour from the Gold Coast
or this one

My fiance and I recently visited The Heritage at Mt Tamborine. Website is http://www.theheritage.net.au. I think it is a newer venue for weddings, but has been there for awhile as a winery/restaurant etc. The reception venue is an old refurbished church so may tick the ‘rustic’ box for you. They also have a beautiful glass house overlooking the mountains for ceremonies. Definitely worth having a look!

I agree with you, it is quite hard to find some place on the gold coast!
Albert River wines is the best so far. The others are quite nice too
Thank you

Hi- i was married last year in the Byron Bay hinterland in Newrybar community hall- it was the perfect rustic vintage wedding location. You can check out some pics on my blog http://www.avintageparty.blogspot.com I’m now hiring out all the vintage crockery i collected for other brides who are after a rustic vintage wedding!
