I am making up a list of songs we want to play at our December wedding because we’ll be loading them onto an iPod and we need time and money to download the music.
We both like punk, and I want to have a lot of classic 80s music – pretty much a lot of well-known music that people will get up and dance to.
I have about fifty songs on the list now, and I need another fifty or so, and I’m out of ideas
We have general ceremony type music for the actual wedding, a CD of U2 lullabies for just before the guests go into the reception, love songs up until the first dance then dance music from then until the end of the night.
So hit me with your suggestions:

Jessies girl, come on eileen, dancing queen, Love Shack, Anything my michael Jackson!, Magic (Olivia Newton John- a slower one for couples dancing) , funkytown, Copperhead road, kiss on my list, jack and diane, every breath you take (another slower one), footloose (classic!), Jump, Karma Chameleon, wake me up before you gogo, Like a virgin (or anything Madoona from the good years!), addicted to love, Never gonna give you up, Walk this way (run DMC version), walk like an egyptian, here I go again, our lips are sealed (go-go’s version), look of love, fight for your right (beastie boys version), white wedding, mickey, whip it, keep on loving you, super freak, 99 Luftballons, anything by prince, walking on sunshine.

(I guess I am showing my age arghhh!)
PS dont forget some sex pistols, dead kennedy’s, the misfits or the ramones! There are some classic songs from all of them that guests should be familiar with!
