Ceremony & reception details

Keen to hear other bride’s plans for their big day.

Our wedding is in Sydney on March 26 – ceremony is at Bradley’s Head in Mosman, and reception is at Marriott Sydney Harbour.

Sydney Marriott is a great location to be having your reception, I was there recently at a Wedding and it was fantastic!

We’re getting married in my home town – Napier, New Zealand. Dad has a huge property so we’re having the ceremony on the side of a hill overlooking the ocean, and then the reception will be at a winery nearby.

I really want to get married at Bondi Beach – so it’s either going to be Icebergs or North Bondi…tricky for guest numbers and parking though.

hi all, we have no idea where to hold our venue! I’d really appreciate any ideas you’d have… we’ve been engaged since July this year and haven’t been able to decide on anything It will also be a budget wedding… not tacky but as cheap as possible as we want to spend more on the honeymoon since we haven’t had a holiday in over 2 years…

Araluen Gardens and chapel – Epping

Woolwich Pier Hotel – Woolwich

We’re in Brisbane and will be having a very quick ceremony inside the receptino venue (we’re having a swinging cocktail party, rather than a traditional wedding).  Getting married at the Brisbane Powerhouse, overlooking the river

We did plan on having our wedding at a resort on the Central Queensland coast, however just changed our minds recently so its back to the drawing board!

Now we’re thinking Stradbroke Island (SE Queensland) but have yet to check it out. Its just a ferry ride away from my parent’s place and from what I’ve seen so far looks lovely! No confirmed date as yet.

My wedding is 6th November 2010 and we are having our ceremony at Taronga Zoo in the harbourview garden and the reception on The Pontoon! Very excited both are lovely locations!

We’re getting married on 14 November 2009 (not long now!) in the Crypt of St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney and then we are walking across Hyde Park to Tattersalls on Elizabeth Street for the reception.
