Hi Knotties,

We have picked 17th September 2011, we really wanted to get married on our anniversary (20th September) however that date wont be on a weekend til 2014!! so just went with the closes date on a Saturday and the groom was adamant it had to be on a Saturday!

Anyone else getting married in September 2011??

We’re getting married on the same date!! Groom’s bday is the 22nd so he didn’t want the following weekend as it would’ve been too close haha ;)

We are getting married on the 17th of September too! We chose the date because we both love the month, it is between our birthdays (12th and 23rd) and before harvest :)

Hi Saraj,

I’ve booked the reception venue, its at The Bay Hotel in Mordialloc and I have just submitted the permit to get married in the park across the road. I am looking at Wedding dresses next weekend and have still to make my decision on who to ask to be my bridesmaids.

What about all of you? How are your plans going?

Hi Sjane and other Sept Brides!

It is going well (I hope) Reception Venue is booked at Mollymook, South Coast. We booked our celebrant tonight and now we just have to deicde if we’ll get married on the beach or the park… we are looking at photographers and cake suppliers probably in the next few weeks. I have an idea of wedding dresses but my Mum is away so won’t go looking until she is back from OS. I am looking at BM dresses online and I am still trying to decide if I want to risk purchasing on line on try find dress supplier in Sydney that do a similar dress.

Hey all,

My wedding date was supposed to be 24th sept this yr, (anniversary of when we met) but we couldn’t afford it so were going to go August 2011, but our reception venue that we fell in love with was booked out for the dates we wanted, but said he would extend the winter rates to include the 1st weekend of Sept. So our new date is 3/09/11. Ceremony n reception are booked, getting quotes for cars at the moment, starting to look for celebrant and photographer. My sister will do my cake so will start looking at designs and flavours but isnt a priority atm, and my cousin said that she will do the flowers for me. So plans are starting to come 2gether. lol need to work out a budget tho. lol work out where we can afford to go for our honeymoon.

I’m getting married September 17 2011 as well!

We chose that date because it avoids the AFL grand final and we can still get winter wedding prices…non-romantic reasons, but hey, it works!

Hi September Brides!

I am getting married on the 21st of Sept 2011 in Las Vegas! We chose Setember due to being the shoulder season for travel and nice weather and far enough away from xmas!

How is everyones planning going so far?

I have everything booked and the cake and flowers all ordered. I also have had my dress since Dec last year. The only thing left is jewellery and men’s suits! (I may have a touch of OCD when it comes to planning).

We are getting married on 23rd September 2011 in Broome WA, we were hoping for a saturday wedding but our date was given away while we were waiting for another venue to get back to us with a price!

We have booked the venue and the bridesmaids have their dresses and I have picked mine but not ordered it as yet! Hoping that I might order a size smaller!!

As we live in WA and our family and most of our friends live on the south coast of NSW I am going to send Save the date cards shortly with some accomodation options, does 9 months seem a little far ahead? As Broome is fairly busy all the way through till October and airfares are expensive i thought this may give people plenty of time to save and get good accomodation deals, does anyone think I am getting a little ahead of myself?
