RSVP rant!

After having many stressful moments during the invite-making process (never DIYing again – although I do love them!) now we’re having RSVP dramas.
We gave people until 31 January to respond via email or post. That was almost 8 weeks for the overseas lot. STILL we have 10 people who we have no formal RSVP from, and who have ignored our follow up emails.
They just don’t realise that A) we need to confirm our numbers with the venue, and B) there are OTHER people we want to invite but can’t because they are still TBC!

I would make a phone call. People can ignore emails too easily and pretend they didn’t get them. Just call them and be polite but firm.
