you don’t have to but it’s a nice thing to do. one less thing for your guests to worry about.

it would be nice to do so , especially in this day and age theres not many people that even get down to the postoffice ,what with internet banking etc, people get so busy with their lives it would go on the to do list, so yes i reckon place postage stamps, as katemonster said its one less thing they have to worry about good luck with your wedding

Hi Gail,
For my invitations I’m not including RSVP cards to save on costs. Instead I am including my phone numbers (making sure I have the invite list on me at all times to cross people off), and an email address I’m going to create especially for the wedding with a play-on-words of our names. Something modern that saves money!
Good luck!

I didn’t include stamps…..specifically as most people put their rsvp’s in anoother envelope so that they could write personal comments on the rsvp as well. And that is if they used rsvp’s. Of 98 people invited, maybe 15 used the rsvp cards. Most emailed or phoned.

We have envelopes with the RSVP cards already addressed and those we are sending to people are to people we won’t be seeing and these are getting stamps… Those people at work, or close friends, are getting the invites handed to them, and I’m hoping they will hand back to the RSVPs – they aren’t stamped
Stupid Aust Post increasing the price of postage before our RSVP date, and we’ve already sent out some of the invites, so wish us luck getting our RSVPs back that only have 55c stamps on them when they go up to 60c at the end of June!
