We have jst started planning our wedding, and am stuck for ideas for a style of reception to hold! We dont want anything too formal (wedding outdoors, reception possibly also outdoors in a marquee) but want a bit of organisation- so not sure what style of food, how to serve/eat is the best! any ideas??!!

Personally fro a less formal affair I would go for a buffet or heavy canape stations. This way you can have food bought out at varying times and people can eat when hungry, sit when they want, mingle when they want and dance when they want. Also the type of food means that those who don’t want to sit can stand and eat! Just ensure that you have enough tables and chairs for people to sit at (not just for eating but some people are non dancers, some have sore feet due to killer heels and some have health problems).
