Question regarding 2nd wedding

Hi Ladies
I’m in a tiny dilemma… My dad walked me down the aisle for my first wedding which was wonderful, but I was thinking about what to do for my second marriage. It seems a little silly to get him to do it again, to give me away again, as much as I would love to…. Don’t know if that is weird or not. I was thinking instead that I get my 6 year old daughter to walk down the aisle with me instead, as it really is a package deal that my fiance is marrying, and becoming a new family. I was thinking about doing the sand ceremony as well to show this melding….

That sounds like a lovely idea! My boss did the sand ceremony and it was lovely. Plus a really nice way to symbolise the melding of your family as you say….especially if kids blend in their own sand
