Pre-wedding beauty routines?

Fri 24 Feb 2012 21:45PM posts 3

Hi,

Is anyone able to share their pre-wedding beauty routines? I can’t really afford to get regular facials so does anyone know any good home made treatments? What about vitamins? The wedding is just over 2 months away so I was thinking of starting hair/skin/nails vitamins?

Thanks,

Laura

My advice is, if the wedding is only 2 months away…DON’T DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT!!!

You don’t know how your skin will react to the different chemicals, you might get redness, acne, peeling.

If you wanted to experiment with new products you should have done it about 10 months ago.

Play it safe and don’t try anything new. You got engaged with the face you’re wearing now, you’ll be fine to get married with it. :D

Agreed Dramione27 – My skin freaks out if I do anything different so I am keeping up with my usual routine and products (very basic cleanse/tone/moisturise), trying to eat healthy (read: TRYING!) and exercise a bit (again – trying).

Advice I can give: Drink heaps of water – cut back on sugary drinks etc. In terms of vitamins I stuck with vitamin C, ecenacia (sp?) and then Lysine (because I am sadly prone to cold sores).

Its never wise to change your beauty routine right before a big event – just stick with it and you’ll be beautiful on the day!
