Postponing the Wedding

A week ago (6 weeks before of Wedding date) my FH and I decided to postpone our wedding for a year.
We decided to do this because he is through serious family issues and therefore personal issues, so it is not a happy time. We decided even though we love each other, it is important we are both saying our vows when we are both in a good place.
For everyone out there that is having thoughts of postponing your wedding for whatever reason, I recommend it. It took us a long time to make the decision, but it is for the best as it has taken a lot of pressure off our relationship. Having this pressure off will allow my FH to go through his issues with a clearer head and we will still get married, but it will be what it is meant to be the happiest day of our lives.
Just thought I would share our experience.

Ohh, I really wish we could postpone ours, but we have so many people coming from overseas to be there for our day, so it’d be awful to cancel. I’ve just had surgery on my mouth so I DO NOT feel like getting married in 25 days! But I know that it’ll be wonderful on the day, at least, I hope so..
