Planning & etiquette

I am having my wedding on the 13/03/2010 in Melbourne.

The most important things to consider for our wedding suppliers are the qualities of products and prices.

I’ve done my researches, and plan to go with

Wedding Dress, Bridesmaid dresses, Jewelry, Accessories – Eternal Bridal http://www.eternalbridal.com.au (After visited their website, I decided to call them up. Sebastian and his wife were so great, they helped me and my bridesmaids out to customize our own wedding dresses, and bridesmaids’ dresses, also suited the other accessories for us.

Hair & Make up – Ellie makeup http://www.elliemakeup.com.au or Bridal Styles http://www.bridalstyles.com.au. Met both of them in the bridal expo, and saw their works from some of the expo visitors, both of them are so great, still thinking which one to go with.

Reception venues – Brighton Savoy http://www.brightonsavoy.com.au. They had an expo few months ago, me and Chris went down to visit them. They have a wonderful venue for 100 guests and perfect location for Brighton beach boxes photo. But their price was a bit more than our budget; we might end up having our venue at Chris’s mum…lol  

Cake – mum has ordered cake from Kat’s cakes http://www.katscakes.com.au . I have no idea what she gets, she said it’s a surprise, it better be chocolate….lol

Photography & Videography – I think it is the hardest one to select, there are so many wedding photographers in Melbourne . After visited 5 of them, I decided to go with Dreamlife photos and video http://www.dreamlife.net.au. Anthony was so great, not just helped me to understand what wedding photography is about, also helped me to plan out my wedding day, told me all the important details I should be aware of.

Their packages and prices are great too, I got a discount from both photo and video packages, I will receive all the negatives in hi-res, and all the editing for the album is all included. They also gave us these lil albums for parents from the expo, which is sweet.   

Flowers –Mum has organized for me, think she’s going to get from Infullbloom http://www.infullbloom.com.au

Cars – Chris is going with Exoticlimo http://www.exoticlimo.com.au. Very nice Chrysler, but price already went over our budget, owell, what else can I say – Boysssss

Band – He’s mate is playing for our wedding, which is saving us some $$$..

I went to my sister’s wedding last year, she had the same photographer and reception as you. I think that is the best location in Melbourne for beach photos, and I also chose both for my wedding next year.

Their friend were playing music for them at the reception , but I think the band got a bit too drunk in the end of the night, which isn’t a good idea to use friends for wedding…lol
