Maui Wedding!!!

We just got back to Australia after our GORGEOUS wedding in Maui, Hawaii! WOW!! It was so amazing…Maui is just absolutley breath taking! We went through Rachel Barnard at Hotel Wailea and had our ceremony there on the lawn and our reception in the Taiko room. Everything was just perfect! Rachel was so great right from the beginning! Trying to organize a destination wedding is hard…I KNOW!!! But keep at it, it’s sooooooo worth it! Hotel Wailea had really affordable rooms…perfect for the Bride and Groom, and they absolutely make you feel like you’re the only Bride they ever met! From Emily on the front desk, Ann in sales, or any of the concierge team…Manny, Jerry…too many to mention, and then there was Rachel!! She is just soooo cool! Very fun and laid back but at the same time efficient and working hard make sure the whole day runs smoothly! Rachel was more than happy to organize ALL the details…as much or as little as we wanted! She worked with us through some plans we had already made ourselves, such as the officient and photographer, and just made it work. Besides all that…the Lawn where the ceremony was held was GORGEOUS!!!  There is no better backdrop in the world! All of our guests had the best time and said it was the coolest wedding! :) The cost was beyond reasonable and you can go as cost efficient or all out as you want!

I also have to talk about our AMAZING photographer, Nicole Sanchez from Behind the Lens Maui. She too was the absolute coolest! So energetic and organized all at the same time! She got so many pictures organized in such a small amount of time, it was absolutely mind blowing to watch her in action and a pleasure to be a part of it! The we get the photos (a few days later I might add)….OH MY!!! They just stole my heart and took me back to that day and brought back so many memories. She captured EVERY important moment…she used some tradional shots and some modern style angles and I could not possibly be happier with her! She is the best Maui Wedding Photographer!

Then there’s Rev. Valentine Rosete (Rev. Tino)…again just sooooo cool! He preformed this amazing ceremony that was just so beautiful! From the blowing of the conch shell, to the Hawaiian robe he wore and the Hawaiian chant he sang…WOW!!! He does religious or non religious ceremonies as well as a lei exchange!

So I can’t say enough…our wedding almost 3 weeks ago now, is still so fresh in our minds and look back and think how perfect it was! Yes a lot of weddings happen in Maui…but for a reason…it is stunning…and all these amazing people are here to help!!

Mahalo Rach, Nicole and Rev. Tino…you have made our wedding unforgettable! :)
