I’m not sure on the style of makeup that I should have for my wedding? What is everyone else doing? I was thinking of something like this

makeup style Is it too much?

I don’t think that look is too much but I think it depends how it feels when it’s on. How much makeup do you normally wear each day? If this look is a lot heavier than your usual makeup you may feel uncomfortable.

Have a makeup artist do a trial run for you, then you can always ask for a more subtle version for your big day.

I think it looks gorgeous.. to me it still looks quite natural and would look great going into the night time celebrations. I was thinking of using mineral makeup to get a natural “glow” and making it natural looking with me eyes outlined :)

I really think it comes to how you feel and what kind of style wedding you’re planning on having. I think it is a beautiful look, but you’re the one who has to wear it for a day!

Hi,

I am a make up artist and have done wedding make up for about 2 years.

The biggest thing about wedding make up is it is always a lot heavier than you would get your make up if you were say going to a formal or event etc.

This look above is very classic just remember when its done and you look in the mirror it may seem really heavy and dark around the eyes.  Get the make up artist to take a few shots (both colour and black and white) with your camera so you can see how it will look in photographs.  You need the heaviness of the make up to give you definition in the photographs so you dont look washed out.

I use Mineral make up in my kit as it doesnt feel so heavy on the skin.

Get a trial done with your make up artist you will be reassured for your big day.

The make-up picture you have chosen is beautiful. I suggest get a trial done before the BIG day to make sure this is exactly what you want. Im sure you are going to make a beautiful bride xox

it looks gorgeous!

just a tip – have your trial done in the morning so you can see how long lasting your makeup is throughout the day.

I love the make up. I think most brides tend to go too conservative on the day. That is perfect

i think that is great for a wedding makeup, make sure your comfortable wearing it though, i wouldn’t try a style that your not use to other wise you will be worrying about it all day. if you dont wear a lot of makeup always go with something that is quite natural but brings out your features, that style in the photo is quite natural but also quite glamourous.
