Honeymoons & destination weddings

Hi Knotties

FH and I are getting married April 2013. As super organised/obsessive as I am, we are planning our honeymoon. We want to go to the Maldives, 5 star all the way, Overwater bungalows and spa treatments until we cant feel our limbs.

Our budget is about 10k for the accommodation/meals part of it. Can anyone recommend any fabulous resorts? They all look so good!

I’m going to the Maldives and Dubai! Great Choice.

We are staying at the Escape Over Water Villas at the Coco Palm Bodu Hithi for 7 nights. They are over the water AND have a private pool!

Then we are heading to Club Med Kani in a water villa for 3 nights. A massive step down but loads of fun.

We also LOVED Baros Maldvies, Taj Exotica and W Maldives – they are stunning as well.

Thanks for that We are looking at Vivanta by Taj, W Maldives, Constance Havali and Anantara Dhigu. I am trying to figure out the best value for money.

As much as I love Baros, it is out of our price range!

Dubai is my favourite place in the world. I would live there if I could.

Maldives have been on our list too! Sounds like SUCH an amazing place (although I kinda want to go there before the effects of climate change do). Here are some I’ve been keeping an eye on. I’m sure there are a load of amazing resorts to choose from, so it would be great to know what other options there are.

They all look like amazing resorts. Kind of scared to check the prices though!

It depends on what you are willing to pay, we are looking at around $1000-$1300 a night mark

All the resorts just look so fabulous.
