Hi ladies,
I have long (past my shoulder blades) hair that us very very straight, think jennifer aniston in friends, I have had it proffesionally curled before and it lasted for like an hour before they fell out and my hair went straight again:(
My Fiancee loves when i wear my hair out I like it too but after like an hour or two i get annoyed with it and throw it up in a pony tail or bun, so trying to decide what to do for wedding.
Do you think i would have time to have it done between ceremony and reception? maybe wear it out for ceremony and have it put into an updo for reception?
Or do you have any ideas for wearing it out but straight? all the images i have looked at that i like have culs and i know my hair wont stay like that.
thanx ladies

Hi Sandy
I have the exact same hair. I plan on having it half up and using hair pieces (the clip in type) that can be curled/waved to give it a bit of body but I also have really thin hair and not much of it! With half up/half down you both get what you want!

I was thinking that half and half might work, have you found good hair clips yet? that look natural? Mine isnt thin do you think it would look bulky?

i am the same, i like it down but get fed up an ot doesn in a ponytail after a while. i like j_jayes suggestion of half up. you might be able to find a style that will let you have it half up for the ceremony but then quickly pin the rest into a loose bun type style for the reception. if you do this then see if your photographer can stick around for some professional shots of both styles. talk to your hairdresser about what styles will stay best in your hair next time you go for a cut. once you find images you like you can take them to them trial to see what they can create.
