Guests & the bridal party

so when did you FH pick his groomsmen? we just hit the 6 month mark (read me freaking out in ‘the knot help’ section lol) and my FH still hasnt picked his groomsmen, im still having a mini meltdown about everything else and this is just adding to it…. should i push the issue or he still has plenty of time and i shouldnt worry tomuch yet?

I have the same problem. I’ve picked my girls and asked them all… but when I asked him who he wants, he reels off a few names then nothing more said (topic change) I finally asked him, why havent you asked your guys to be his groomsmen. One excuse is that he wants my sisters partner as they are friends, but he is too afraid he’ll ask and they’ll break up. Fair enough. But he wont ask the others.

One thing I cant get my head around is why he never mentioned his own brother – he was best man in his Bros wedding, but he hasnt even considered him as a GM?

Considering I’m in the same position, I cant give you advise. But I think tonight I will ask him to discuss this topic. If I do I think you should too!! No harm in asking, we gotta get them prepared to look at suits!!

how did you go? i asked my FH and still nothing, i texted him and told him he had to decide because i need him to and if he doesnt i will (politly) and he told me he never got it, but his phone says otherwise, his pretty much decided on 2 of his GM, but 1 is his brother and hasnt asked yet because he has 3 brothers and doesnt want to offend anyone, the other is my brother, but he has no idea on a best man, i said if he wanted we can have an uneven bridal party, i dont mind, but he just changes the subject
