Hi there,
Yes we are getting married at The Residence next August. We love it as it gives you many different areas with the internal courtyard and then the large function room inside. We wanted a lounge area for the oldies to watch the dancing and it will have that set up as well. So far so good and for a winter wedding it is weather proof!!

Hi!
We’re trying the knot there in December! It’s a lovely venue for something that is (1) within a hotel and (2) within the CBD. I absolutely fell in love with it when I saw the venue. If you haven’t yet seen it, definitely make a time to. It’s amazing

We are also thinking of having our wedding there as it is a stunning venue.
To the two other knotties that have their weddings booked in – were you able to get a good rate for the residence??

Hi Ponyo,
I think the rate we got is quite good. We booked just before they upped their prices for 2012. The rate includes all the extras including florals for the tables, canapes on arrival and accommodation for the night. The inclusions made it good value.
