We are driving to the gold coast for our honeymoon. We have jet boat rides planned and dinner at dracula’s and casino. Anyone have any recommendations for other entertainment or restaurants?

go for a day/overnight trip to byron bay. gorgeous weather, fantastic scenery and the markets on the weekends are fantastic
you can go up the Q1 tower for breathtaking views of the gold coast all the way up to brissie (so i’ve been told, i’m scared of heights!).
i think at the casino there’s a new show starting called “burn the floor” or something similar? choreographed by Jason Gilkinson (so you think you can dance)
shopping at harbour town – a fantastic outlet shopping centre. Pacific fair is another large shopping centre near the casino
let me know how you go with Draculas – i’ve heard mixed reviews of it of late, and would love to go!

when we went to the gold coast we stayed at the Sofitel in Broadbeach. The resaurant there is fabulous and very romantic. Its not cheap but it is so worth it. (i may be bias tho coz its where FH proposed to me!) From that hotel you can get on the monorail over to the casino and have a gamble! Dont bother with the Wax Museum, unless u want to waste a few hours you’ll never get back. The beach is beautiful at sunrise this time of year so maybe pack a picnic breakfast complete with sparkling wine and watch a brand new day dawn.
