Does the ceremony music have to be consistant all the way through??

I’m looking at some wedding music and have decided im walking down the aisle to Canon in D (guitar version). I’ve been looking at other pieces of music played by a guitar for the prelude, signing and recessional and i quite like them but my FH says having it all played by guitar may take the effect away from the ceremony.
What do you ladies think??
