Honeymoons & destination weddings

So my fiance and I decided to get married on Erakor Island which is Vanuatu. Does anyone here know much about the island? I know it got refurbished late last year and before then it had bad reviews but I have read nothing but good since! They seem very helpful and it’s pretty cheap!

Any info of Vanuatu or destination weddings in similar places would be great!

We have just decided to get married there too, in October!  We only booked a couple of weeks ago but have most of it sorted out already.  The wedding coordinator has been so fabulously helpful and lovely to deal with!  They really do seem like they’re excited to be part of our day.  My FH’s mother contacted them along with some other places for info on accommodation, mentioning she had an event on the 15th to attend, and they responded straight away mentioning our wedding.  We were so impressed because she didn’t specify it was a wedding and she has a different last name to FH, but they picked up on it and made it seem like it was super important to them.  I read heaps of great recent reviews too, and when we booked they mentioned that they had recently taken over & talked about some of the refurbishments.  So far, I am extremely happy.  If they continue to be half as good as they have been, i would be happy!

FYI, Air Vanuatu have some specials on until the 11th of Feb so if you/guests haven’t already booked flights you can grab a bargain if you book quickly!
