Ceremony & reception details

Hi Ladies,

I am currently trying to decide on ceremony music for my wedding. What ever we choose will also be used as the pre-reception drinks music.

I am thinking that I might like a single guitarist and male vocalist – something that sounds a bit husky but strong as it is an outdoor ceremony… I’m envisaging Jack Johnson ha ha ha. Has anyone come across anyone like this???

I’m in Perth so obviously not much help, but thought I’d share what we’re doing. We are lucky enough that our best man is a musician and my FSIL is a beautiful vocalist, so I am going to ask best man to sing my bridesmaids down the aisle and play guitar, then ask FSIL to sing while I head on down

How are you going with finding your ceremony entertainment?

I provide string quartets and trios for weddings but have recently expanded to offer even more choices of entertainment for couples.

I saw you were interested in having a guitarist play for you. Have you heard of Nick Kingswell? He is a colleague of mine and does a lot of weddings….he was even on Australia’s Got Talent but didn’t get through because his performance was ‘too polished’… go figure! ha. He also performs with Guy Sebastion so he is probably one of the best singer/guitarists you can find in Sydney. He’s great at pop and rock!
