I tried this a few months back and, I found it hard to stick to, I have since joined “Healthy Inspirations’ which is a complete womens weight loss centre, on the Diva diet, it’s real food, lets you still enjoy life with a weekly indulgence of whatever you want and I have lost 11kgs in just on 3 months, I lost 3kg in my first week, it’s awesome and I can’t reccommed it enough! the diva diet lets you have 3 full meals the secret being a high protein meal with a fat content and a carb content (ie, non starchy vegies) it makes you feel full for longer, I find I have very little cravings. If you are having trouble, have a big glass of water before your shake, it makes you feel fuller, there is also a great website ”http://www.empowerfoods.com.au">www.empowerfoods.com.au they have some great no sugar no carb choices which are actually tasty! ie their chocolate! Good Luck! keep us posted how you go!

Hi,

I completed the Celebrity Slim diet about 2 years ago now – I ended up losing about 7kgs in total but unfortunately I wasn’t able to keep it off… I am even heavier than when I started celebrity slim now. I think the CS diet is ok if you want to lose weight for an event but don’t expect to keep the weight off permanently.

I’ve found clean eating and exercise the best for keeping weight off. I just found this website - http://www.bodyrock.tv/ which is all about working out at home for FREE! They post nearly a workout everyday so it keeps it interesting and they post healthy recipies as well! Also the trainer on the video looks AMAZING so she is my idol atm! ha ha

Good luck with the celebrity slim! I hope you find success with it! :)

Hiya,

I done CS maybe 12 months ago. It was indeed hard to stick to. I did lose 12KGs and it has stayed off, but i’m still no where near what I would dream to be.

I’m not sure if I would recommend CS or not, I will admit, the first week was amazing results, I lost 4.5KGs, then it was a lot less as the weeks went by.

Good luck xo

usually people have iphones these days.

get the app ‘fitness pal’.

I’m using this – its like an online food diary where you have a set amount of calories a day for maintaining or loosing weight. if your honest and motivated it would well – also taking into account excercise and water.

At the end of the day it tells you what your total calories (and nutrient) intake for the day was and what you’ll end up loosing if you keep at that intake).

I replace one meal with celebrity slim (breakfast) because they have a better source of nutrients then a normal cuppa soup.

Cravings are hard – sweet drink i have anything diet as its usually only 2 calories. Buy it in a closable bottle so you dont feel obligated to drink it.

Maybe just work a bit harder at the gym or walk an extra 10 minutes. and give yourself a chocolate – just have something like a milkyway… but just one. and then get right back on track. dont do the whole ‘eat now, run later’ because that account will never get paid!!

My vice – hot chips. once a week i get some and its after a run, i get a big bottle of water and a small chips from KFC. its my ‘good job this week’ treat.

I dont have a sweet tooth at all so its only chips not both.

It’s tricky to stay motivated, but i’ve had good results by adjusting a combination of thinsg to suit my shift work lifestyle.

Good luck and keep checking in and letting us know how you go :)
