Are you having dance lessons?

Is anyone having dance lessons in the lead up to their wedding? Are you just doing a traditional bridal waltz or something different? Where are you going for your lessons?

My FH and i have never had dance lessons and we wont be getting any before the wedding. We dont feel like it matters if we can dance like a professional as it is our big day and everyone has come out to see us because they love us not because they want to see if we can dance. Lets face it lol how many wedddings have you been to where they just do that little shuffle around the dance floor :) At the end of the day its up to the both of you on what you feel comfortable doing.

We just started basic lessons and we’re having so much fun that we’ve decided to upgrade to some one on one time with an instructor to learn the waltz to our song with the strict instructions of nothing cheezy or too choreographed just as long as we can move together.  Fingers crossed from now on we’ll be able to dance together on the dance floor at any occasion incl. our wedding and avoid our usual shuffle that we are so use to doing :)

The wedding has made us take the time to do certain things that we wouldn’t even dream about doing previously so we’re going with the flow and having a lot of fun along the way…

All the best :)

We will be doing the dance lessons, but we will be doing them because I love ballroom dancing. I did it for a year and my teacher was gobsmacked that I hadn’t done it before! (She had taught my brother 3 times for 3 seperate debutaunt balls and he was terrible!) I can’t wait and I think my FH will have a great time too =) Oh and it’s a great fun way to stay fit.

I’m going to have a lesson or 2 with my Daddy Dearest before the wedding too. Last time I danced with him he nearly flung me accross the room!

Oh and I’m hoping to get that same teacher who taught me originally but we would have to travel 1.5 hours back to my hometown once a week for a few weeks.

We are having dance lessons and they are heaps of fun!!  Our instructor Kim is wonderful, so enthusiastic and friendly.  I would highly recommend her.

We are going to have a couple of basic lessons but nothing cheorographed, more just so we can move together without standing on each other’s feet! I didn’t want to spend heaps on lessons so I found a place that does small group classes for wedding couples, which I hope will make H2B feel a little less nervous about it all.
