Hi
I am recently engaged and we are looking at having our wedding in April next year (I am a teacher so we need to match with holidays) WE have looked at many venues. Our criteria is: good views, balcony and elegant. We have looked at Aqua Dining in North Sydney and love it. We are having approximately 84 guests for a sit down dinner. I was wondering if anyone had been to a wedding here and how they found the space.

Hi Naomi,
I went to a friends wedding at aqua dining in august. It was a standing cocktail reception. Venue was lovely. Good inside and outside areas.
Another girlfriend of mine is planning on having her wedding (sitdown dinner) at Quay restaurant in circular quay. Looks lovely.

Hi – I have booked my reception there for Feb 5 2011. We are not having that many guests, only 70 or so. I was just wondering where you were thinking about having the ceremony? We like the idea of a park overlooking the harbour or Whitely gardens (both walking distance) but are worried about a wet weather option. Any ideas in that area??
We live in that area and would like to get away without having to drive too far, or even have cars at all.
