Kate Middleton is the daughter of Carole & Michael Middleton who are seen by the British public to represent ‘Middle England’. The couple became millionaires running a mail order firm that supplies party accessories called Party Pieces.
Here her parents are seen photographed as they make a statement following the announcement of the engagement of their daughter on November 16th outside their home near the village of Bucklebury in Berkshire, United Kingdom.
Kate will be the first ‘commoner’ to marry an heir to the British throne in 350 years (Prince William is second in line to the throne following Prince Charles).
