Alex researched and designed the ring on his own. He was absolutely amazing and chose a classic round brilliant cut diamond with a yellow gold band. He first found the diamond and then decided on the setting. He bought the ring from McGlades Jewellers in Canberra. He even got the ring size correct (my ring finger rings fit on his pinky!)
