Wedding Hair of the Week: Structured & Soft

These four different hairstyles, from structured to soft, are a great option for your wedding day.

Doutzen Kroes

Doutzen’s structured top knot is a wedding favourite. It’s pretty, practical and allows you to play up your makeup without looking overdone.

Taylor Swift

This vintage hairstyle works for both short hair and longer lengths. Taylor has pinned her curls up and under to create a faux bob. A red lipstick is the perfect finishing touch to this retro look.

Charli Robinson

Charli Robinson opted for a simply side ponytail at the 2011 Aria Awards. This style works for a wedding because it’s out of your face but the all-the-way-t-the-side part gives it a romantic twist.

Kate Beckinsale

If wearing your hair down is your signature style, then consider this for your wedding day hairstyle too. Get your hair into a healthy, glossy condition and tong loose waves into the lengths.

I’ve been wondering what colour brown I should have my hair on my wedding day (it’s naturally medium brown) – whether to get some foils or have it all-over dark. But I love Kate’s colour and style here, it’s definitely given me something to show the hairdressers!
