Do doubt choosing your wedding hairstyle is a task you’re looking forward to (what could be more fun than looking through pretty pictures in the name of research), but it’s a difficult task too. Picking just one hairstyle that will look amazing in your wedding photos, that stays true to yourself, and that suits your dress, wedding style and face shape can be tough.

That’s why I’m starting a regular blog that showcases some of my favourite wedding-worthy hairstyles, as seen on the red carpet and runways. The more great options you see, the easier it will be to decide. Right?!
This week I found some really beautiful ideas, from downstyles to intricate updos, all with a special side twist.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone’s side swept downstyle is simple, but really elegant at the same time. Clipping one side back behind the ears with a vintage brooch will give you a gorgeous finishing touch.

For an upstyle that’s out of your face but anything but boring, we think you’ll love this look from Paris Hilton. She’s stepped it up and gone for a lovely one-sided braid and bun.

Lucky last we have Zoe Saldana whose side style is a wonderful choice for brides. It’s loose and soft, which gives it a romantic feel, but it’s structured enough that it looks elegant and done.
