Runway Highlights From Contemporary New Bridal Designer

This Sydney based designer brings a Ready to Wear attitude to bridal design by incorporating contemporary trends with traditional techniques.

After studying fashion in South Africa, Sarah Janks pursued a tailoring apprenticeship in London and worked with some of the best-known names in the business, including Jenny Packham, Jonathan Saunders and Roland Mouret.

As an accomplished designer and pattern cutter, her 2013 collection features beautiful French laces, most intricate European embroideries and silks in on trend shapes and strong, feminine designs. Impeccably cut with great attention to detail, each dress is a timeless gem in its own right that complements the collection as a whole.

Being the only Australian-based designer to have a runway show at New York International Bridal Week this year, she has gained critical acclaim and a sophisticated following as a high-end upscale designer.

In just 18 months, Sarah has created a bustling flagship store in Neutral Bay and over a dozen stockists worldwide. Check out highlights from her New York  show below.
