Even if you can’t afford your own super luxe designer wedding gown, you can still take a little inspiration from their oh-so stunning designs. Every year Bridal Fashion Week opens our eyes up to gorgeous wedding gown details we would never have considered, and this year was no different. Here are some of pretty details that really caught out eye…
Romantic Texture at Lazaro
Brides are often reluctant to try gowns with texture as they think it will add bulk to their frame, but it can in fact have a slimming effect. All-over texture can hide a multitude of lumps and bumps while an exaggerated textured skirt can make your waist seem tiny in comparison.
Pretty Belts at Francesa Miranda
Define a teeny waist with a gorgeous belt, designer Francesa Miranda send both glamorous embellished belts and refined bow belts down the runway to anchor her feminine designs.
High Necklines at Oscar de la Renta
In the last couple of seasons it is becoming more and more fashionable to take a little more of a conservative approach with your wedding gown. Call it the Princess Catherine Effect or just more and more brides sick of strapless gowns, either way we’re loving this elegant take on bridal style.
Illusion Necklines at Marchesa
Sheer necklines are the perfect solution for brides who want to show off their décolletage but don’t want to get too risque on their wedding day. Marchesa sent some positively whimsical versions of the trendy illusion neckline.
