Flower of the Week: Gerberas

Think gerberas don’t belong at a wedding? Think again!

Flower of the Week: Gerberas

Gerberas aren’t every bride’s cup of tea when it comes to her wedding day. Roses and calla lilies are a lot more common. But we think gerberas have got a bad reputation as being a non-wedding appropriate flower and this simply isn’t true. We’ve seen some clever brides make this bloom work wonders for their wedding. From bright shades, to cake decorations, gerberas are a hot wedding flower choice. Plus they’re affordable and come in an array of colours.

Our Wedding of the Week couple, Anastasia & Paul, incorporated hot pink and soft shades of gerberas into their white wedding for a splash of colour.

If your colour theme is red, orange or yellow, then using gerberas is a great option.

Knot tip: Gerberas look great when paired with freesias, calla lilies and greenery.
