A Rustic Barn Wedding in Winter
Antea and Dave’s rustic winter wedding was held in a cosy barn with plenty of romantic ambiance all around.
by Chelsea Tromans
A barn is the perfect location for a rustic-inspired wedding, but remember that during winter the tall ceilings and unfinished walls can leave the interior a little chilly, so be sure to keep the inside toasty.
The bride: Antea Pelusi, 24, a stay-at-home mum
The groom: Dave Amoroso, 24, an assistant community manager
The date: 15 January
Antea and Dave wanted guests to feel cosy at their barn wedding, and they kept that in mind while crafting a rustic winter wonderland theme.

Vaulted wood ceilings and warmly lit chandeliers created the cosy, rustic vibe the couple was after.
The centrepieces were tall square vases filled with river rocks and curly willows finished with white orchids.
Antea covered the glass of rustic picture frames with a stick-on chalkboard and painted on the table numbers.
A chalkboard sign welcomed guests on their way into the barn.
Instead of a cake, Antea and Dave served red velvet cupcakes with buttercream frosting.
Guests dropped their cards into a birdcage decorated with raffia and silk flowers.
