Stay up-to-date on the royal wedding! Even if you’re not going to get up at 5 a.m. to start watching the arrivals, set your DVR for 6 a.m., so you can catch Kate making her big entrance. And then maybe as you’re making coffee and heading out the door, you can catch the 8:30 a.m. flyover at Buckingham Palace. Here are all the details you need for the morning of the wedding:
7:00 p.m (SYD).: The VIP arrivals begin! The Royal Family gathers at Buckingham Palace. Guests will have started arriving as early as 8 a.m. GMT, and basically arrive in order of least important to most (with Kate being the last to arrive).
7:10 p.m: Prince William & Harry leave Clarence House.
7:20 p.m: Kate’s mother and brother leave Goring Hotel.
7:38 p.m: Prince of Wales leaves Clarence House.
7:40: Queen Elizabeth II leaves Buckingham Palace by car.
7:48:Bridesmaids & pages leave Goring Hotel
7:51:Catherine Middleton, the bride, departs from Buckingham Palace. Both will travel to Westminster by car.
8:00: The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton begins! It will reportedly take Kate 4 minutes to walk the entire length of the aisle at Westminster Abbey. The entire service should last just under an hour.
9:03-9:05: The newlyweds exit the church!
9:15: Their open carriage (if it’s not raining) departs for Buckingham Palace escorted by Household Cavalry from the Abbey.
9:30: William and Kate arrive at Buckingham Palace.
10:25: The couple’s first balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace.
10:30: William and Kate with both families appear on Buckingham Palace balcony followed by overhead fly past battle of Britain memorial flight. Directly after this, they’ll head inside to start the first reception. (We probably won’t have access to this part).
12:30: Down time. The couple returns to Clarence House prior to evening reception (hopefully for a costume change!). We’ll see the couple leaving Clarence House.
