Steal Kate Middleton’s Pretty Princess Makeup Look
Kate Middleton has never looked more the part as a princess. Steal her beautiful makeup look for your big day.

My, my, Miss Middleton is certainly settling nicely into her role as Princess (alright, technically Duchess, but it just doesn’t have the same ring to it!). Looking more fresh-faced than normal, we think she’s found her best look yet.

It could just be the newlywed glow that’s making Kate look positively radiant, which certainly helps, but with the right tools you can also achieve this radiance at home, too. Here’s how:
Step 1: Find your own Prince Charming. Check! Next, start with a cleansed face (try Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser, $13.99, which is ultra hydrating and contains a little shimmer to help you achieve a gorgeous glowing base). Moisturise and apply an illuminating primer. We love Estee Lauder Face Primer Plus Illuminating Base, $42.
Step 2: Apply your foundation. Try one like Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15, $75, which sinks into the skin and smoothes, hydrates and creates a flawless and radiant finish. This is one of my absolute favourite foundations as is so perfect for your wedding day.
Step 3: Define your brows with a brow pencil, and pluck any strays so your shape is perfect.
Step 4: Create that rosy glow on your cheeks by swirling a pinky-peach blush on the apples of your cheeks, then blend up over the top of your cheekbones. Clinique Fresh Bloom Allover Colour in Posy, $59, is a great palette for copying this colour.
Step 5: For the eyes, start with eyeliner. Kate loves a heavy application using a black pencil, but we think a little less is more. Line the entire upper and lower lash line, but make the lower line finer than the top. This will help avoid your eyes from looking too small. Kate’s opted to dust her lids in a rosy brown shade. You can achieve a similar look with Smashbox Eye Shadow in Minx, $24.95. Define your lashes with mascara.
Step 6: Finish your lips with a neutral pink-beige lipstick, like M.A.C Lustre Lipstick in Gem of Roses, $35. It has a soft sheen, but no shimmer.
A stunning blowdry is the perfect way to finish off this look.
Are you inspired by Kate’s makeup?
Or perhaps you love her hair and makeup combo?
