Been itching to see the Royal Wedding dress up close and personal? So have we, and now we might have our chance. Princess Catherine’s stunning satin and lace wedding gown will go on display at Buckingham Palace during the annual Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace form 23 July to 3 October, 2011.

Need a little more to justify the plane ticket? As well as the Alexander McQueen designed gown, Princess Catherine’s hand-made ivory duchesse satin and lace wedding shoes (also McQueen), stunning Cartier Halo tiara (lent to Princess Catherine by the Queen who wore the piece on her 18th birthday), soft silk-tulle veil and the couples wedding cake, designed by Fiona Cairns, will also be on display.
