Vow Renewals Are Super Hot Right Now

The general consensus from all married couples is that their wedding day just flew by. One minute they were having hair and makeup done, or adjusting the buttons on their suit, then before they knew what had happened, they were sharing the last dance of the night. This would certainly be one reason that vow renewals are so popular, particularly amongst celebrities, who often have a team of staff who can put the arrangements in place for them.

In the last month Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon, as well as LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, have chosen to renew their vows, sharing images and the joyful moments with the world via the media and social networks such as Twitter.

Songstress Carey and Cannon flew to France for their fourth vow renewal (they were originally wed in 2008 and renew every anniversary), which they held at the top of the Eiffel Tower in romantic Paris, with Carey dressed in a glamorous white gown and Cannon in a dapper white suit.
Meanwhile singer LeAnn Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian spent a whole week in April celebrating their first anniversary. They firstly went back to the Malibu mansion where they originally wed, then shortly after jumped on a plane to Mexico, where they renewed their vows in intimate and ornately decorated church. They went for a more casual look than Carey and Cannon, with Rimes in a strapless white dress and bare feet, while hubby wore a loose shirt, grey pants and thongs.

There are also rumours floating around that Kate Moss is planning to renew her vows to musician husband Jamie Hince, along with a big wild-child Moss-style party, at the Isle of Wight festival in June. This will be the couple’s first anniversary after they wed in late July 2011. A favourite event for Moss, who threw her hens’ party at the Isle of Wight festival last year, where she was joined by the likes of Jade Jagger and Sadie Frost.

Vow renewals are certainly a beautiful way to revisit the magic moment on your wedding day when you publicly make a lifetime commitment to your partner. Particularly on special anniversaries or if your wedding day is now just a blur!
